PRIVACY POLICY

Last modified October 28, 2023

Overview

Holding your private information is a serious responsibility, and we want you to know how we’re handling it. We only use it as this Privacy Policy describes. Please carefully read the full policy details below; if you are not in agreement with them, please do not install or use our products or services.

Thi Doan Thi Quynh (the “Company”) owns, licenses, and/or operates games and other software (individually a “Game”, and collectively the “Games”) and the website www.mrbusted.com (the “Site”). The Company is responsible for data collected in connection with each particular Game or the Site.

By using the Site or any Game, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy and, where applicable, third party privacy policies. For example, for Sites that access or use YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and are encouraged to review the Google Privacy Policy; for Games that access or use Steam, you agree to be bound by Steam’s Privacy Policy; for Games downloaded from the Google Play App Store or the Apple App Store, you are subject to their respective privacy policies; etc.

With regards to EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are ensuring through this Privacy Policy that we store your data securely and that you know exactly what information we collect from you, why we keep it, and how we use it.

What information we collect and why

We collect personal information in order to provide and improve our products and services. This information includes:

Information you provide to us

If you contact us by email, personal information that exists in that email will be stored by our email systems. Your email address will only used in order to respond to your initial queries, unless you have specifically subscribed to newsletter updates, in which case we will contact you infrequently as described in Mailing Lists below. Some more examples would be optional game / beta testing surveys where we ask your feedback to improve our Games’ experience and mailing lists.

Automatically-collected information

We automatically collect certain types of information about your use of the Site or Games through our 3rd party affiliates who are responsible for storing this data. Especially for the Games, these are anonymous metrics will help us determine how to give better support for common in-game issues, to help us tweak gameplay elements that may be snagging players, and for consideration when designing our future titles.

These metrics include:

• A device identifier (either the Google ANDROID_ID or the iOS Device ID)
• The device type and Operating System (OS) version
• Game Name/Version
• Crash data (where available)
• Game progress and interaction, hints and features used

We do not have a way to, nor do we seek to, link any of this information (including device identifier) to any personal data. For example, we might be able to see that one of our games crashes on a specific device running under a particular operating system, but we cannot identify those people directly. No information we collect from game sessions is shared with third parties.

Information from other sources

We might receive information about you from other sources, such as information relating to purchase information from platforms that interact with the Games.

We will avoid asking for any personal information we don’t need. For example, we will only ask for a shipping address if there is a physical item that needs to be shipped to you. Wherever possible, we will keep all personal information anonymous and optional.

Any data that we do collect will be kept securely in accordance with the current and new data regulations.

If you publicly disclose information about yourself on any Site or Game, such content may not be subject to the privacy protections set forth herein.

If you sign up to the Mailing List, your details will be shared with the web services company (currently Mailchimp) but only in regard to providing those mailing services.

We do keep sales data from 3rd parties such as Google Play, iTunes, Steam, and GOG. This data is used to review sales across formats and in each country throughout the world. We will only use personal data, where it is available, if we need to make a refund. We won’t share your personal information with any third parties unless strictly necessary for our commitment to you, such as delivering rewards or other personalized services we may be providing.

Information Security

Dionous is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. While no service is completely secure, Dionous takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. The servers on which your personal information is stored are kept in a controlled environment with limited access. While we take reasonable efforts to guard personal information we collect from you, no security system is impenetrable.

Information Retention

Information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above (or as otherwise communicated to you); after that point, data may be kept only for statistical purposes.

Access to Information

You have the right to access information held about you, and following the GDPR we are obliged to provide you with a copy of all the requested personal data we have on you within 30 days of receiving your request. You can then reuse this data for your own purposes.

If we’ve got incorrect or inaccurate data about you, you have the right to rectify this, as well as the right to object to us using it. And if you’d rather we didn’t have any of your information, you have the right to ‘erasure’, where we are obliged to remove any of your personal info from our records.

Transaction histories are managed via the respective payment processor (eg. Google Play, iTunes, PayPal) and you can access them through these.

Childrens’ Data

Dionous does not knowingly collect personal information from children or send them requests for personal information. Although visitors of all ages may navigate through our website, we do not intentionally collect personal information from persons under the age of sixteen. Following a notification by a parent or guardian, or discovery by other means, that we are storing data for a child under sixteen, we will delete the child’s personal information from our records.

Affiliated / Third-party Organizations

We may host advertising on the Site or some Games, as well as embed advertising technologies from third parties. In addition to the tracking technologies we place, other companies may set their own cookies or similar tools when you visit the Site or use the Games. This includes companies we’ve engaged to provide services on our behalf (like website analytics), as well as third parties that deliver content or offers (like ads from ad networks) contained on the Site. We may receive reports from these companies on an individual or aggregate basis.

Our Games are available on various storefronts/platforms. For any concerns regarding your personal data while using these, please see below:

Our use of cookies and tracking

This website uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about website traffic. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, small text files placed on your computer, to allow us to monitor visits to our website. For example, we track how many visitors come to our website each month, how many pages were visited, how long each page was viewed for, and the rough geographic location of the visitor.

A “cookie” is a small data file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. Sadly, such cookies are not edible. When you visit the website again, the cookie allows that site to recognize your browser. The length of time a cookie will stay on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. Dionous uses both types of cookies. Session cookies will only stay on your device until you stop browsing. Persistent cookies stay on your computer or mobile device until they expire or are deleted.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences, however, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience.
